Partnership with Parents

back to nursery

We work closely with parents and carers. Partnership with parents is the last key feature of effective practice found in the revised Development Matters guidance (2021).  Relationships with parents have always been central to the early years and form one of the overarching principles of the EYFS: a partnership with parents ensures that each parent is kept up-to-date on their child’s learning and development.

“I just wanted to say a big thank you to Mrs P and Mrs Sherman.
Alfie is such an intelligent, caring little boy and I think that’s down to his amazing teachers.
I can’t say a bad work about PEPA Tots and Alfie has thoroughly enjoyed his time there.
Thank you for your guidance and taking care of our Alfie :)”

“After struggling at his old nursery, Harry has settled in at Pepa Tots very well. He walks in happily and always runs out smiling at the end of the day. Harry is very fond of both staff members and we are very grateful for the care and support they have given him. His language skills and pen control have really improved since starting there and he has grown in confidence. We are more than happy with our decision to send him to Pepa Tots and look forward to him returning in September for another year. I am confident he will continue to enjoy his time there and flourish.”

“I would just like to express how grateful I am in allowing Dollie to join you in Nursery although she has only been with use since April I can see a massive difference in her , she’s always so excited to see me at the end of each day and show me her pictures etc she has done in that day at school and loves telling me all about her friends and what she gets up to during the day.
School is her happy place and I thank you so much for making her feel so welcome and safe.”

“My child has been here since nursery and has grown so much as a young learner. Her teachers are fantastic! I would highly recommend EYFS at PEPA.”
